A Smart, Space-Saving Solution

While AutoStore systems can be installed directly on the ground floor without the need for a mezzanine floor, incorporating a single or multi-tier mezzanine offers several advantages:

Utilises the full height of your warehouse by placing AutoStore systems on mezzanine platforms on top of each other and connecting the grids via bin lifts, enabling seamless transport of goods between levels.
Option to create tunnels by elevating sections of the AutoStore onto a mezzanine floor, freeing up space below for workstations, conveyors, or receiving areas.
Workstations and maintenance areas can be positioned on intermediate platforms, leaving the area beneath available for other operational activities
Enables the mezzanine supplier to provide essential ancillary features such as cat ladders and walkways, facilitating inspection, maintenance and emergency escape routes.
Allows for an optional steel support structure above the AutoStore to accommodate fire sprinklers, lighting and other essential services.
