The ‘Major Players’ insight published mid-year by Plimsoll puts MiTek in the top position for the eight consecutive year. The report gives MiTek a 25% share of the UK mezzanine market, with the nearest competitor securing 11%.

With demand for its mezzanine solutions remaining strong despite a degree of economic uncertainty, MiTek recently moved into larger premises, enabling the recruitment of additional staff to handle the ever-growing order book. The company is also investing heavily in improved and digitised work processes to plan and deliver projects more efficiently. This has resulted in MiTek’s mezzanine operation in the UK achieving ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety Management) certifications, in addition to re-certification for ISO 9001 (Quality).
“We continue to work on exciting and challenging projects,” says Matt Loveday, who was recently given responsibility for the North American market, making him global leader for MiTek’s mezzanine business. “A current project for a leading UK retailer is the second largest ever for MiTek globally by order value. It involves considerable integration with automated logistics systems, which is an area of special expertise for the MiTek team.”
