Participating in LogiMAT for the third successive year, MiTek presented its biggest ever exhibit. Located in an excellent position in Hall 1, the MiTek stand attracted large numbers of visitors, making the event the most successful to date for MiTek in Europe.
“LogiMAT was a great success,” comments Bart Pulles, Operations and Sales Manager at MiTek and responsible for the European mezzanine business. “We had many conversations with both potential and existing customers over the three days, with the focus being on our flexible approach to mezzanine construction.” MiTek offers customers both hybrid construction – with mezzanines made of hot-rolled and cold-formed steel – and purely cold-formed solutions.
Visitors to the MiTek stand included general contractors, system integrators, consultants and logistics managers from diverse industries. The 12-strong stand team included colleagues from MiTek’s leadership, sales, marketing, procurement, design and project management departments, all of whom made valuable connections at the show. The team was delighted to shake hands on major projects with no less than three different clients at the event.
Expertise in large projects
Mezzanine systems from MiTek deliver optimal use of space in warehouse or production facilities, with a wide range of solutions available to suit almost every industry. Although MiTek’s mezzanine systems are suitable for applications of all sizes, the choice of hybrid or purely cold-formed construction makes them particularly suited to large-scale systems.
Large projects typically have diverse technical requirements, for which MiTek selects the appropriate mezzanine design. “This is not just about the best possible use of space,” explains Bart Pulles. “It’s also about the integration of automation, robotics and autonomous vehicles, which bring special requirements in terms of dynamics and weight, demanding a high level of stability.” MiTek's hybrid design offers extraordinary load-bearing capacity, providing the perfect solution for automated systems.
A purely cold-formed steel platform, meanwhile, is ideal for work and service platforms with lower loads and secures the advantages of lower material use and cost savings. By combining hybrid and cold-formed steel, MiTek ensures each mezzanine is tailored to the application, being neither over- nor under-engineered.
See you next year!
Boasting both more visitors (67,420) and exhibitors (1,610) than last year, LogiMAT has cemented its position as the leading international exhibition for intralogistics. With the quality of connections at the show being high, MiTek will be returning with another exciting stand in 2025.
